The census also stated that he was blind. 6 • His death was registered during the quarter ended Mar 1873 at the Uckfield registration district, with GRO reference Vol 2b, Page 74. 7 William married Lucy DIPLOCK on 2 Sep 1803 in the Parish Church, Little Horsted, Sussex.1 (Lucy DIPLOCK was born about 1782 in Little Horsted, Sussex 3 and died on 12 May 1845 in Little Horsted, Sussex 4 9 10.) The cause of her death was Consumption.8
