• On 11 Sep 1862 his daughter Ellen's baptism record said he was a labourer and he lived at 20 Wellington Street, Bromley, Kent. 2
• On 2 Apr 1871 he appeared on the census at 4 Russell Street, Poplar, Middx as a 54-year-old labourer. 6
• On 3 Apr 1881 George appeared on the census at 104 1/2, Stebondale Street, Poplar, Middx as a 62-year-old widower and a labourer, ship yard (builder). 7
• His death was registered during the quarter ended Dec 1894 at the Poplar registration district, with GRO reference vol 1c, page 489. 8
George married Ellen WELLER, daughter of Thomas WELLER and Mary TURNER, about 1842.1 (Ellen WELLER was born about 1825 in Framfield, Sussex 4 5 6 and died before 1881 7.)
