• On 3 Apr 1881 Daniel appeared on the census at Albert Street, Pensnett, Staffs as a 12-year-old scholar. 1
• On 5 Apr 1891 he appeared on the census at 16 The Green, Bloxwich, Staffs as a 22-year-old coal miner living with his cousin John Edwards. John was born in Lye, Staffordshire, so we have to assume he was related to Daniel's mother. 4
• His death was registered during the quarter ended Jun 1900 at the Walsall registration district, with GRO reference vol 6b, page 493. 2
