• On 22 Jan 1894 his son Leonard's school admittance register said he lived at 70 Noyna Road, Tooting, Surrey. 6

• On 31 Mar 1901 Charles appeared on the census at 45 Burnham Road, St. Albans, Herts as a 39-year-old printer's warehouseman. 4
