• On 31 Oct 1886 his son Claude's baptism certificate said he was a baker and he lived at 55 Haverstock Road, Kentish Town, Middx. 5
• On 5 Apr 1891 Alfred appeared on the census at 56 Fairbridge Road, Islington, Middx as a 36-year-old shoemaker whose age was recorded incorrectly. 6
• On 31 Mar 1901 he appeared on the census at 17 Oakfield Road, Hornsey, Middx as a 64-year-old painter. 7
• His death was registered during the quarter ended Dec 1901 at the Edmonton registration district, with GRO reference vol 3a, page 202. 4
