• On 23 Feb 1926 he was awarded the probate of the will of his wife's sister Emily, togeher with Charles Robert Bottom, turner and was described as a silversmith. 6
• On 21 Jun 1940 his estate was probated at the London registry to Ernest Selwood, company director with effects £2,106 14s 6d. At the time of his death he was living at 64 Brighton Terrace Road, Nether Hallam, Yorks. 3
George married Alice HOLMSHAW, daughter of John HOLMSHAW and Susanna, in 1885.1 (Alice HOLMSHAW was born about 1867 in Sheffield, Yorks 7 and died about 1948 8.)
