On 5 Apr 1891 Jessie appeared on the census at 38 Lynette Avenue, Clapham, Surrey as a 10-year-old scholar. 4 5

On 22 Dec 1900 her marriage certificate said that she was a 20-year-old spinster and that she lived at 37 Inderwick Road, Islington, Middx. Her father, William James Morgan, was a secretary. 2 5

On 31 Mar 1901 she appeared on the census at 150 Stroud Green Road, Hornsey, Middx as a 20-year-old married woman living with her husband but, as yet, no children. 5

On 2 Apr 1911 Jessie appeared on the census at 18 Redston Road, Hornsey, Middx as a 30-year-old who had been married for 10 years with 4 children, one of whom had died. 6
