• On 17 Dec 1882 her marriage certificate said that she was a 23-year-old spinster and that she lived in Mistley, Essex. her father, David Faires (deceased) had been a farmer. 2

• On 4 May 1890 her son Leonard's baptism certificate said she lived at 9 Fircroft Road, Streatham, Surrey. 11

• On 5 Apr 1891 she appeared on the census at 9 Fircroft Road, Streatham, Surrey as a 31-year-old. 7
