• On 31 Mar 1901 George appeared on the census at 4 Osborne Road, Manchester, Lancs as a 55-year-old railway plate layer. 10
• On 2 Apr 1911 he appeared on the census at 62 Collyhurst Street, Collyhurst, Lancs as a 65-year-old platelayer. 2
George married Sarah BUNN, daughter of Alexander BUNN and Harriett HOMER, on 30 May 1868 in St. Mary's Parish Church, Kingswinford, Staffs.1 (Sarah BUNN was born on 2 Jan 1841 at Commonside, Kingswinford, Staffs 3 11.)
