• On 20 Aug 1889 her marriage certificate said that she lived at 125 Cundy Street, Nether Hallam and that she was a 24-year-old spinster. Her father, John Bamforth, was a spring knife cutler. 1
• On 5 Apr 1891 she appeared on the census at 40 Hadfield Street, Nether Hallam as a 26-year-old. 11
